Thank You from the Officers

The third Tuesday of November is a special day.  It is a day New York State has set aside to recognize the hard work and dedication of School-Related Professionals.  SRPs are the very backbone of our schools.  They help educate, feed, transport and keep our children safe and healthy.  They ensure our school offices run smoothly.  They keep our schools clean and secure.

The officers of the STA would like to thank the SRPs for their dedicated service in Syracuse City Schools.  Enjoy this day, which honors and celebrates the outstanding contributions SRPs make every day in so many capacities.  Know that what they do - as partners in education with other school staff - is critical in our ongoing campaign to end the achievement gap.  We are pleased to honor SRPs today and proud to represent you.

The STA is an affiliate of NYSUT, AFT, NEA and the AFL-CIO.  The STA Livewire is a regular publication of the Syracuse Teachers Association, Syracuse, NY, Local #2999.  The content is generated from local, state and national affiliates.  The STA Officer in charge of communication coordinates the content and publishes the Livewire.
