STA is sponsoring a Defensive Driving Course for our members and their family members who drive. The course will be offered on Saturday, August 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (with ½ hour for lunch) at the STA office. The cost to attend the program is $30 per person (non-refundable). Course minimum is 25 people.
Completing the course results in:
Participants will receive a certificate verifying course completion to submit to their insurance company.
If you would like to attend the course, click on the link below to open a copy of the form for printing, or contact the STA office for a form. The registration fee is due at the time the registration is submitted.
If you currently have auto insurance through NYSUT Member Benefits/Metropolitan auto insurance program, you will be reimbursed a refund of $30.00. This refund is available to the NYSUT member only. Metropolitan auto policies sold through outside agents do not qualify for the refund.
