When the travel agency planning Walter O’Connor’s international trip in celebration of his retirement claimed bankruptcy, O’Connor was out $400. Fortunately, the 43-year UFCW Local 1776 retiree had used his UFCW Union Plus Credit Card to book the trip.
The union-endorsed card has a Union Plus Member Advocate whose job is to resolve purchasing disputes and payment problems like O’Connor’s.
“Being able to talk with someone from Union Plus who wanted to help me solidified why buying union-backed products and services makes a difference,” explains O’Connor of Croydon, PA.
